About IACET
Continuing Education Units
The
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) you will receive for
the successful completion of this training session are
awarded in accordance with the policies of the
International Association for Continuing Education and
Training (IACET). Pennsylvania Partners is an IACET-authorized
provider of CEUs. Many organizations offer some form of
continuing education credit, but only the IACET CEU is
held to the strict, research-based IACET Criteria and
Guidelines for Continuing Education and Training. Only
IACET Authorized Providers, who undergo a strict
evaluation by continuing education peers, can award the
IACET CEU.
The
Continuing Education Unit (CEU) was created by IACET in
1968 as a measurement of continuing education. One (1)
IACET CEU is equal to ten (10) contact hours of
participation in an organized continuing education
experience under responsible sponsorship, capable
direction, and qualified instruction. Under IACET's
care, the IACET CEU has evolved from a quantitative
measure to a hallmark of quality training and
instruction. IACET certification is the only guarantee
that third parties have to ensure quality in continuing
education.
To successfully complete
your training session, you must:
Meet any
prerequisites established for the session.
Arrive by
the starting time of the session.
Comply
with the registration requirements to verify attendance
at the entire session.
Return
promptly from lunch and breaks.
Complete the entire
session from beginning
to end. (Partial credit
is not available.)
If you do not meet
these requirements, you
will not receive credit
for the session.
Pennsylvania Partners will maintain records of the CEUs
you receive for a minimum of seven years and will update
your records as you complete additional sessions that
offer CEUs. In some cases, these CEUs may be combined
with CEUs earned from other IACET authorized providers
who have agreed to recognize one another’s programs. Following the successful completion of this session,
you will receive a certificate by mail from Pennsylvania
Partners indicating the number of CEUs earned. Upon the
written request of an attendee of any of our training
sessions, Pennsylvania Partners will send you a summary
of the CEUs you have earned within 10 working days. To
protect your privacy, records will only be released upon
the written request of the individual.
